The Product Ladder for padel clubs
CRM, booking automation, checkout, memberships, member community and follow-up, built from scratch for your club and wired in alongside Playtomic. Done for you, not taught.
The gap
Playtomic does court booking, open matches and payments well. What happens to a player before they book, and after they stop, is where clubs leave growth on the table.
01
They find you through Google, Instagram, a friend or a work do. If nothing catches them and walks them to a first session, they try padel somewhere else.
02
Someone loves their first session, then hears nothing. No next step, no group to join, no reason to come back on Thursday.
03
Players who stopped booking six weeks ago are still in your list. Nobody sends them a reason to come back.
04
Membership buttons that only take payment lose everyone who isn't ready to pay today. Nothing captures them, so nothing follows up.
What we build
We build it, set it up and hand it over working. You don't learn a new tool from scratch, and you don't replace anything that already works.
Every player, enquiry and member in one place, tagged by level, site and what they've booked, fed from your Playtomic player data.
Confirmations, reminders and "what next" messages that go out on their own after lessons, clinics, socials and events.
Paid courses, memberships, leagues and academy groups sold online through Stripe, with renewals and failed-payment follow-up.
A members' space for groups, leagues and announcements, so players feel part of the club, not just a court booking.
Sequences for new players, waitlists, corporate enquiries and lapsed players, written in your club's voice.
A fast site with pages for beginners, juniors, corporate groups and new sites, each one feeding the CRM.
What it does for your club
After a first session, a beginner gets a planned route: a starter course, a level check, then a regular group. No one is left wondering what to book next.
When a tournament or social fills, the waitlist runs itself. Players join online, get offered dropped places in order, and pay to confirm.
Parents sign up, pay termly and get updates without chasing your coaches. Juniors move up groups with their parents kept in the loop.
Team days and company leagues come through one enquiry page, get a fast reply, a clear quote and follow-up until the date is booked.
Players who haven't booked for a set number of weeks get a reason to come back: an open session, a league start or a members' offer.
Opening a new club?
Most clubs build the courts, then hope players arrive. We build the demand first, so opening day has members, a waitlist and corporate bookings already in.
Alongside Playtomic, never instead of it
Your players keep booking courts the way they already do. Your CRM is fed from your club's own Playtomic player export or club data tools, with your permission, and the system does the rest.
Stays with Playtomic
What we build
On the audit call we check which Playtomic data tools your account has switched on, so nothing is promised that your setup can't do.
Playtomic is a trademark of its owner. The Product Ladder is not affiliated with Playtomic.
The method
Your players climb your club's ladder: from never played, to regular, to member, to the person who books the team day. We build every rung.
A "what's your padel level?" quiz, founding-member waitlists for new sites, and a corporate enquiry page.
A starter course sold online, with booking, reminders and a clear next step at the end.
Memberships, leagues and academy groups, billed through Stripe, with renewal and lapse follow-up.
Corporate days, club tournaments and member trips, sold and followed up from the same system.
Website, CRM beside Playtomic, email and WhatsApp follow-up, member community, and reporting per site.
How we work
30 minutes on your current setup: Playtomic, your site, your lists, and what any agency already covers.
A session with you to settle who the club is for, its offers, membership logic and voice. Every build starts here.
You see the layout and pick a direction. Our team then builds it from scratch, never from a template.
You get it working, with a walkthrough. Opening another site? The same build is rolled out for it.
Who builds it
I've spent 15 years running events across three businesses: nightclubs, festivals, corporate and hospitality events, and music retreats. We sold places up to nine months ahead, often before the venue was booked, because we built the demand first. I've also built and run every rung of a ladder like this myself: the free hook, the paid course, the membership, the live events and the systems underneath. Now our team builds the same thing for clubs. I'm a padel addict myself, based in Ibiza, so I see a club from the player's side as well.
Questions clubs ask
No. Playtomic stays your court booking engine. We build the system around it and never ask your players to book courts somewhere else.
No. We build the system and hand it over working. We work with a padel marketing partner who runs brand activations for clubs, and we can bring her in if you need that side. If you already have an agency, we work alongside them, and we ask what they cover before we quote so you never pay twice.
Yes. The first build is set up so it can be rolled out per site, with its own pages, waitlists and reporting for each venue.
No, it's the best time. Founding memberships, waitlists and corporate packages sell before the doors open, so you open with players, not an empty diary.
Yes. The same system works for pickleball: the booking, checkout, memberships and follow-up stay the same, with different courts and different wording.
It depends on which parts your club needs. We cover scope and price on the audit call, once we've seen your setup.
30 minutes. We look at how players find you, what happens after a first session, and what your Playtomic account can share. You leave with the gaps named and one clear next step.
Next step
A 30-minute audit call on your club's setup. You'll see where new and lapsed players drop off, and what we'd build first.
